Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Nuddge mobile application (“Nuddge”, “the App”), operated by Carbon Software Ltd, a company registered in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By downloading or using Nuddge, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Use of the App

Nuddge provides personalised daily micro-actions (“nudges”) designed to support wellbeing, productivity, and gentle habit formation.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

3. User Accounts

To use Nuddge, you must create an account using a supported sign-in method (such as Google Sign-In).

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Nuddge offers optional paid subscriptions (“Nuddge Pro”) that unlock additional features.

4.1. App Store & Google Play Billing

All payments, renewals, free trials, and cancellations are handled by:

• The Apple App Store (iOS) or
• The Google Play Store (Android)

We do not process or store your payment details.

4.2. Free Trials

If applicable, free trials are provided and managed directly by Apple or Google.

If you do not cancel the trial before the period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan.

4.3. Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Cancelling a subscription does not automatically refund previous charges.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including text, design, graphics, micro-actions, branding, and software — is owned by Carbon Software Ltd and protected under applicable copyright laws.

You may not:

• Copy
• Modify
• Distribute
• Reverse engineer
• Resell

any part of the App without our written consent.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Interfere with or disrupt the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Use the App for any harmful, abusive, or disruptive purpose
• Use automated tools to interact with the App
• Misrepresent your identity

We reserve the right to restrict access if necessary.

7. Third-Party Services

Nuddge relies on trusted third-party services:

• Supabase (authentication and data storage)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store (billing)

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

Nuddge is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Carbon Software Ltd is not liable for:

• Loss of data
• Inaccuracies in generated micro-actions
• Service interruptions
• Device damage
• Any indirect or consequential damages

Nuddge is not a medical, psychological, or health service. Nothing in the App should be interpreted as medical advice.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if:

• You violate these Terms
• You misuse the service
• We discontinue the App

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

We will update the “Last updated” date whenever changes occur.

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Disputes related to these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Northern Ireland.
